The first step...
I know how hard it can be to reach out for support and take that first step! It's daunting and I totally get it - I’ve been in the client chair & remember how anxious and alone I felt. That's why it is always my priority to take a gentle and compassionate approach to supporting you through your healing journey and clients often thank me for helping them feel relaxed, understood and un-judged. Sometimes we can have all the information and advice from others, but that doesn't help us to know where to start to begin to heal from our life experiences, limiting beliefs, anxiety, self-doubt and the many other challenges you may be facing. This is where therapy can really help. I have been working for the last four + years as an integrative counsellor, starting out with NHS-led community mental health projects. My work style is integrative, which means I offer a range of therapeutic styles depending on your needs, including person-centred, compassion focused & solution focused therapy, CBT, person-centred, DBT & mindfulness approaches. I tailor our therapeutic sessions based on your goals for therapy, adjusting as we go always trusting that your unconscious mind will go where it feels safe to go and that I can hold the space as we travel together.
What is the process of working with me?
STEP 1:
Book in a free 20 minute phone call to decide whether we are a good fit to work together

STEP 2:
Once we've agreed to work together, I will send you a copy of my therapeutic agreement for you to read and sign

STEP 3:
We agree the first session time and date where we will explore your goals and create a plan together
​
Commitment:
Therapy is most effective when there is a commitment to the process. Working together over a number of sessions allows us to build trust, explore themes at depth and create lasting change. For this reason, I encourage a commitment of 8–12 sessions, however I always maintain that therapy is your choice and you are free to end sessions whenever you feel like it. I usually leave clients to book back in session by session, unless they'd prefer to do a block booking.

2025 session fees:
£50 per in-person session - online & student discount can be offered.

Where and how will we meet?​​
I facilitate therapy sessions both in-person in Chester & Little Sutton and online - we can discuss availability for both and your preference during our consultation call.
