What type of therapy is right for you?

It can be hard to know what type of therapy will work best for you, we are all unique and I don't believe there is a 'one size fits all' approach when it comes to healing from a specific experience or life event. Exploring your reasons for talking to someone, reading more about the different types of therapy on offer and booking a free consultation will all help you to get a feel for what's going to work for you. I come from a background in working for community interest companies, helping a range of individuals through different projects to improve their mental and physical health; so my approach to therapy is very much holistic - I want to find out what's important to you, what works and what doesn't and explore new ways of building healthier habits into your lifestyle to suit you. The Clarity Call - A one time session to explore, release & strategise

If you're looking for a quick solution, a space to offload and work through something with an unbiased professional; The Clarity Call is for you. Perhaps you might be struggling with a single event that's happened in your life recently or a build up of stress that you'd like to talk through and find healthier ways of coping. This 75 minute online session will allow you to release tension, make sense of things and gain methods to help you moving forward. All resources discussed in sessions will be emailed over to you, so you have those to keep for as long as you like.

Note - This isn't an alternative to ongoing sessions if you're looking for a quick fix. If you're experiencing physical and mental symptoms of traumatic events, grief, low self-worth, depression and many other areas that you think may likely take more than one session to help you feel a sense of release, skip to The Ripple Effect service instead.

The Ripple Effect - Regular sessions to create lasting change 

We'll work together to unpick those uncomfortable emotions, physical symptoms and negative behaviour patterns that are keeping you stuck. I'll use my skills to combine a mixture of different therapy modes to suit your needs, whether that's exploring childhood experiences, empowering you through reflecting and paraphrasing your words back to you to help you make sense of them or gently challenging current thought and behaviour patterns that no longer work for you. Sessions last for 50 minutes and can be in-person or remote (telephone or video) depending on your preference. There is no set time limit for the amount of sessions, each individual varies so we would work together until you felt comfortable and confident to end.

Investment: 

£40 per session for remote 

£50 per session for in-person (fee covers room hire)

As a registered, experienced therapist I know I can help people feel seen, heard and understood. In a world that is so 'connected' digitally, we feel massively disconnected.
